Product Marketing Manager – Disruptive Bioprocessing solutions

The company: uFraction8 is an early-stage start-up with locations in Poznan (Poland) and Falkirk (UK). Following a successful funding round, uFraction8 now aims to scale their disruptive bioseparation technology to enable the global shift to sustainable bio-based manufacturing, contributing to food security, mobility, and health for people and ecosystems. uFraction8 delivers disruptive perfusion solutions for scalable bioprocessing, with applications in microalgae, cultivated meat, and biopharmaceuticals.

The Role: We seek a candidate who is enthusiastic about transforming a distinctive, disruptive technology into a compelling value proposition and a product portfolio that achieves commercial success. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual, eager to operate without the constraints typically found in larger organizations, while also understanding the significant responsibilities associated with such a pivotal position. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the CEO to drive the company's evolution into a commercially successful enterprise and will be instrumental in developing a go-to-market team and advancing a mature product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

- Identify specific target applications within the bioprocessing industry, gather detailed market requirements, and translate them into precise product specifications.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of competing solutions in the target markets and define strategies for sustainable differentiation and competitive advantage.

- Collaborate with the technical team during the development and testing of products, coordinating customer tests, and processing feedback to create a continuous improvement roadmap.

- Define and implement the company’s customer journey, own customer relationships particularly with key accounts and build appropriate systems to manage those relationships.

- Create concise marketing materials that highlight a sustainable value proposition and deploy them via effective channels to ensure a return on marketing investment consistent with the needs of a small disruptive company.

- Serve as the internal advocate for the customer and the product champion within the company

- Represent the company at conferences, workshops and other events.

Requirements:

- MSc degree in biotechnology or similar field, PhD advantageous

- > 3 years of industry experience, ideally in product-related roles in bioprocessing

- Proven skills to efficiently communicate to various stakeholders (e.g. engineers, customers, management / investors)

- Ability to break down complex problems into executable tasks, structured, disciplined working attitude

- Internation travel up to 50% including on site presence at Poznan location (proximity to a major international airport advantageous)
