Holy Grail developed a direct air carbon capture technology that removes CO2 from the atmosphere and permanently stores it as a solid above the ground. We are looking for proactive candidates ready to take ownership and are passionate about creating a sustainable solution to removing excess CO2 from the atmosphere.
To support our growth, we’re seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the deployment of our first CO2 capture facility and oversee daily operations, including people management, hiring and retention.
This role will be located full-time in Mountain View, CA.
Requirements:
• Demonstrable experience as COO or relevant role
• Experience in manufacturing
• Proven experience in strategic planning
• Experience with hiring and retention
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding interpersonal, decision-making and problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt and remain calm and focused in stressful situations
• Willingness to perform tasks at any level, without an ego
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the CEO to develop and drive the company vision, operational strategy and hiring needs
• Lead our first CO2 capture facility deployment, optimization and day-to-day running
• Drive the hiring and retention plan for the company
• Supervise all daily operations of the company, including manufacturing, HR, legal and finance, with a primary focus on deploying our pilot facility and developing and executing plans for future, larger scale deployments
• Grow and improve efficiency of existing company operations
• Manage relationships with all stakeholders and partners required for efficient day-to-day operations
• Establish policies that promote a safe operational culture and vision
• Adhere to company, local, state and federal business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary
Nice to have:
• Experience with hardware manufacturing
