Help turn innovative noise-control technology into products that can be manufactured reliably at scale.

About us

At DeNoize, we believe everyone deserves peace and quiet at home. We develop active noise cancellation and smart ventilation technology to make homes quieter, healthier and more comfortable. Our products combine mechanical components, electronics, sensors and intelligent control software.

Bringing this technology into homes requires products that can be manufactured, tested and delivered reliably. We are looking for a Manufacturing & Industrialisation Lead to take our products from prototype to serial production and establish the manufacturing capabilities needed to grow.

This is a hands-on role with broad ownership. Initially, you will work directly with our engineering and business team to select suppliers, organise pilot builds, establish assembly and testing processes, and resolve production challenges. As volumes grow, you will develop the production organisation and help build and lead the team.

Your Responsibilities

Lead the transition into production

  • Develop and execute the industrialisation plan, from prototype assessment and pilot builds through production release and ramp-up.
  • Work with R&D to improve design for manufacturing and assembly, addressing tolerances, component selection, assembly complexity and testability.
  • Define production-readiness criteria and resolve technical and operational risks before increasing output.

Build a reliable supply chain

  • Identify, evaluate and qualify component suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Establish clear requirements for quality, cost, lead times and capacity.
  • Recommend what to manufacture internally and what to outsource, and reduce supply risks for critical components.

Establish efficient assembly processes

  • Set up assembly workflows, workstations, tooling and fixtures appropriate to each stage of production.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing bills of materials, work instructions and controlled production documentation.
  • Plan production capacity and material requirements, coordinate assembly activities and train colleagues or production partners.

Build quality into manufacturing

  • Establish incoming inspection, in-process checks and end-of-line testing with the engineering team.
  • Implement traceability for components, product versions and test results.
  • Investigate defects, drive corrective actions and feed production findings back into product design.

Scale and improve

  • Track production yield, assembly time, manufacturing cost and delivery performance.
  • Identify bottlenecks, reduce rework and introduce improvements as production volumes increase.
  • Help develop the production team and external manufacturing capabilities as the business grows.

Your profile

You enjoy turning a working prototype into a product that can be built consistently. You can plan the next stage of production while staying close to the practical details - whether that means reviewing a supplier quotation, improving an assembly fixture or investigating a failed test.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Relevant production experience: a track record of helping bring a physical product from development into repeatable series production.
  • Experience with electromechanical products: familiarity with products combining mechanical parts and electronics.
  • Practical manufacturing knowledge: experience with component sourcing, supplier qualification, assembly processes and production testing.
  • Strong organisational skills: the ability to turn engineering designs into clear documentation, workable processes and realistic production plans.
  • Cost awareness: an understanding of how component choices, assembly effort, testing and rework affect manufacturing cost.
  • Structured problem-solving: confidence investigating issues directly with engineers, suppliers and assembly teams.
  • An entrepreneurial approach: the ability to create structure, prioritise and take responsibility in a small technology company.
  • Leadership potential or experience: the ability to share knowledge, support colleagues and take on broader responsibility as the production organisation develops.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and availability to work regularly at our Delft location.

Experience with contract manufacturers, production ramp-ups, lean manufacturing or production planning systems would be valuable. Knowledge of acoustics, ventilation or active noise cancellation is welcome, but not required.

You may already have led an industrialisation project, or be ready to take broader ownership after contributing substantially to one. We value practical achievements, sound judgement and the ability to learn as the challenges evolve.

What we offer

  • Ownership of a defining step in bringing DeNoize’s technology into people’s homes.
  • The opportunity to shape how our products are sourced, assembled, tested and delivered.
  • Close collaboration with the management team and engineers across mechanics, electronics and signal processing.
  • An international working environment that values different perspectives, open discussion and shared learning.
  • A role that grows with the business, with scope to develop into broader manufacturing leadership and build a team.
