We are seeking a Scientist I – Nanoparticle Formulations to join our growing R&D team. In this role, you will focus on the design, synthesis, and characterization of advanced nanoparticle systems. You will work closely with senior scientists on high-impact projects and contribute to the ongoing development of our platform technology.This is a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary role that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation in drug delivery technologies.Key Responsibilities- Synthesise and characterise various nanoparticle formulations for gene delivery applications- Functionalise nanoparticles with targeting ligands and optimize for specific cell types- Screen and evaluate different targeting ligands for nanoparticle conjugation- Conduct formulation development, verification, and stability studies- Develop and scale manufacturing processes for nanoparticle formulations- Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation including HPLC, DLS, and TFFRequired Qualifications- Master’s degree in Chemistry or Nanotechnology with a minimum of 2 years industry experience in nanoparticle R&D OR PhD in Chemistry or Nanotechnology- Hands-on experience with nanoparticle synthesis, conjugation, and functionalization- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, DLS, and TFF- Demonstrated expertise in formulation development and process optimizationPreferred Skills- Background in lipid nanoparticle-based drug or platform development- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills- Experience in developing reproducible manufacturing processes for nanoparticles- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively- Creative thinker with a passion for solving complex scientific challengesHow to applyIf you want to join a fast-growing innovative biotech company and unlock the potential of cell and gene therapies for patients worldwide, send your CV and a short cover letter to info@deliverbiosciences.com.
